Make the most of your Remind plan with new premium features

How-to and Tips

If you're looking to activate engagement across your community, the Remind plan provides a platform powerful enough to support communication for your entire organization—whether your goal is to expand your reach, gain access to new data and insights, or harness the communication that's already happening.

Now, our premium features let you customize your Remind plan based on your community's priorities. From seamless sharing with LMS integrations to personalizing school and district communication with advanced messaging features, these add-ons can help your organization get the most out of the Remind plan.

Choose the experience that's right for you

While free Remind accounts are perfect for teachers to use with their classes, communicating across an organization calls for a centralized platform that can accommodate a larger community. Remind's base plan covers everything you need to engage with a larger group, from sending school announcements to sharing grade-level updates.

For administrators with specific needs for school and district communication, premium features are available to add on to the base plan. These won't be necessary for every organization—but if you have an LMS or need to meet certain communication requirements, these features can help you get the most out of Remind.

LMS integrations

Using a learning management system? Remind integrates with Canvas or Schoology to streamline communication and improve engagement. With these integrations, you can set up Remind to appear in your LMS—and add your LMS to the Remind composer—for a seamless sharing experience. (More details in our blog post here!)

Advanced messaging

Along with automatically creating accounts and classes, organizations that roster via a student information system (SIS) can add advanced messaging to their Remind plan. With the ability to automate notifications, reach exactly who you need to, and customize messages with SIS data, Remind's premium messaging features make communication as easy for you as it is for your teachers.

Voice calls

Voice calling is now available to new customers as a premium feature through the Remind plan. Members of your community can call any phone through Remind, including landlines, and automatically generate documentation that administrators can access. If staff members are required to make phone calls as part of your communication plan, voice calls combine the convenience of a cell phone with the protection of a classroom phone.

Urgent messaging

During an emergency situation, it’s critical to provide everyone in your community with the information they need to stay safe. Urgent messaging on Remind makes it faster and simpler to reach everyone you’re required to reach—without sacrificing effectiveness or coverage. Urgent messages are mobile-first, but recipients who can't be reached by text will receive a text-to-voice call as a fallback so you can notify as much of your community as possible.
